Hi, my name is David Shepherd, though many know me as Dynamite Dave on the airwaves! I’m happily married to the lovely Yvonne, and together we have three children and six wonderful grandchildren. When I’m not spending time with my family, you’ll find me cruising on my Vespa scooter or immersed in the world of music.

Music is truly the heartbeat of my life—I enjoy all genres, but soul and Motown have a special place in my heart. As a radio presenter, I’ve had the pleasure of sharing my passion with the community, from spinning timeless tracks to introducing new sounds. My journey in broadcasting has allowed me to connect with people from all walks of life, creating a space where everyone can come together through the power of music.

As part of Coalville Public Radio (CPR), I’m proud to be part of a station that champions local voices, supports community events, and brings the best of entertainment, news, and culture to listeners across North West Leicestershire.
