Graham Sutton

Film Music Aficionado & Brass Band Maestro

Leicestershire Born Graham has been interested in music from a very early age, he has played in and been Musical Director for various local Brass Bands over the last 40 years. He works in Swannington for Roshal Space Consultants Ltd and has lived locally for the last 50 years.

He has been a Film Music enthusiast since the early Seventies.

'I have always enjoyed music written for Films & Television since I was a child enjoying weekly shows of Thunderbirds and many Gerry Anderson Series in the sixties. In the early seventies I then seriously started to collect recordings and then followed many Composers involved.

I have had the great pleasure of attending many amazing concerts in major Concert Halls like The Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, The Barbican, Symphony Hall Birmingham and meeting some of the great composers of Film Music, TV Themes & Musicals like John Williams, John Barry, Jerry Goldsmith, Don Black, Barry Gray. David Arnold, Guy Farley and many more.

My fascination with the music is that as well being dramatic music written for a certain scene many different genres of music is also used like Jazz, Blues, Modern and much more.

It gives me much pleasure being involved Coalville Public Radio and by being a volunteer presenter I am supporting this amazing organisation, giving something back to the community in being able to share my expertise and huge collection of music.'

So why not join Graham and indulge yourself in two hours of escapism with Movie Music!
