Olly Whitehead
Presenter, Boating Enthusiast, and Theatre Tech Extraordinaire
Hi, I’m Olly Whitehead! My journey into broadcasting kicked off back when COVID-19 first hit, and I discovered a love for connecting with listeners. Since then, I’ve moved on to bigger stations like Hermitage FM, where I hosted everything from Drive Time to the Friday Night Weekender—up to four shows a week!
Now, you’ll find me on Coalville Public Radio (CPR), bringing you the best mix of tunes from the 90s to today. When I’m not on air, I’m often behind the scenes, handling engineering bits and bobs to keep things running smoothly.
Outside of radio, I’ve got two main passions: being on the sea and lighting up the stage. Whether I’m driving a boat or working as a theatre technician across the East Midlands, I’m all about making things happen.
I’m thrilled to be part of CPR, a project dedicated to connecting with our community and offering media opportunities to everyone—from career hopefuls to hobbyists. So tune in, and let’s make some waves together!
