Hi, I’m Simon.

I have been involved in radio for around 17 years, and I still love it just as much as I did when I first started. There is nothing better than sharing great songs, chatting with listeners and being part of a community that loves music as much as I do.

Over the years, I have taken part in many outside broadcasts and local events. I really enjoy getting out and about, meeting people and being involved in the community. That is what local radio is all about and one of the reasons I love being part of CPR.

Away from the studio, I have a few hobbies that keep me busy. I collect watches and have built up quite a collection over the years. I also enjoy go karting whenever I can and I am a big Formula One fan, always keeping up with the latest races and results.

When it comes to music, my favourite band of all time is The Beautiful South. I have every album they released and still listen to them regularly.

My favourite film is Back to the Future, which I have probably watched more times than I would like to admit.

When I am not on air, I enjoy relaxing with a bit of adult colouring. It is a great way to unwind and switch off from the world for a while.

Join me for great music, good company and a little bit of everything that makes local radio special, only on CPR.
