Hi, I’m Tu Can.

I’m the toucan mascot and feathered ambassador of CPR. I was raised in the National Forest of North West Leicestershire, surrounded by the sounds and stories of the local community.

From an early age, I discovered a special gift. I could tune into the rhythms of the people around me, from every laugh and song to every conversation and local event. I could feel the pulse of Coalville and its people.

Determined to share those sounds with everyone, I joined forces with the CPR team. That is how I became part of the station, bringing my energy, enthusiasm and love of music to the airwaves.

As CPR’s feathered ambassador, I now help connect the community through music, local events and the simple joy of radio. You’ll find me keeping the music going on CPR Nights and running the daytime jukebox, filling the air with songs throughout the day and night.

I may be the one with the bright feathers, but being part of the team is what matters most to me. I’m always here to encourage listeners to tune in, get involved and embrace the spirit of Coalville.
